Millenium Bridge

Mellenium bridge is a pedestrian bridge in London. It is both functional and art work like an sculpture. The bridge links two distinct and different areas. There is  St Paul's cathedral on one side and Tate modern collection on the other side. One side to St Paul's cathedral  has been designed in the way to encourage people to countine the path to ce othathedral. On ther side of the bridge because of the location of the art gallery designers have changed to the left and right sid eof the bridge.

The materials that have been used in this bridge are glass, concrete and iron to provide a modern structure. From the river it seems like a light construction and its not so  exotic. As people walk on bridge they could see the mixture of old and modern constructure and materials.

The bridge itself is like wave.It feels like flowing and encourage people to walk on it.It also provide easy accessibility to both side of river for pedestrians.
